Moscow Design Week 2010, Russia
This fall Moscow demonstrated to the whole design community that it stands in line with Milan, London and Paris. Design Week 2010 took place in Moscow from the 5th to the 9th October.
The program of the Moscow Design Week is made for those who create design, materialize the ideas of designers, push forward, sell and become the consumer. All the visitors are granted an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest products, to talk to the professionals, who became the participants and guests of the Moscow Design Week. Russian and overseas manufacturers could see and appreciate the projects of Russian designers, their creativity and potential, and thanks to that, Russian design is one step closer to becoming an industry. Moscow Design Week is a celebration of design, it connects exhibitions, presentations of Russian and overseas projects, film shows and roundtable discussions.
The events of the Moscow Design Week covered more than 60 sights, including the main museums, galleries, show-rooms, cinemas and shops of Moscow. Exhibitions, lections, competitions, festivals took place within the Moscow Design Week 2010.

B&B Portraits
The objects of Vadim Kibardin design were presented on the exhibition PRO PROCESS.
The exhibition is arranged by the ART TRADING GROUP and the team DESIGNET. Vladimir Samoilov and Alexander Matveev are the curators of the project. The participants of the project are:Kibardin Vadim, DESIGNET STUDIO, Nazarov Maxim, Rassadin Yaroslav, Design Studio of Artemiy Lebedev, OPEN!DESIGN Studio, Matveev Alexander, Lobanov Igor, The project MARUSSIA, Sviatoslav Saakian’s Studio.
The exhibition is dedicated to the «kitchen» of design, a look from the inside at how the leading Russian industrial designers create their objects. The stories of how the objects appear from the idea to the realization — and why they are the way they are: how a customer influences on the process of the object creation, how the technologies do.
Realized and not-realized projects: inspiration, drafts, models, screenshots, notes, inserts, extracts from the correspondence with producers, engineers, ideas, examples of the real products with the commentary of designers and customers.
