Detail and Prototyping Phase
During this phase we identify, manage, and eliminate risks, fully defining even the smallest details. As a result we have a product that is ready for manufacture at volume and on schedule. With our in-house 3D printer we can experiment with iterations and quickly test and validate designs, allowing you to conveniently review product form and dimension.
Our prototyping process consists of three stages.
At an early stage, a ‘quick-and-simple’ prototype that people are not afraid to criticize is best for testing principles.
Next, an ABS plastic model, 3D printed to scale. These models are great for enhanced testing (functional testing and overall form evaluation). No surface finish here—the material is in its natural state, without finish work or painting.
Finally, CNC machined parts. The surfaces are finished to reflect production materials/paints, with your logo and in any shade of color you choose.
